Varietals: Negru de Drăgășani (Black from Drăgășani) is a crossing created by the Drăgășani Institute in 1993. It is a crossing between Negru Vârtos and Băbească Neagră. It produces grapes with low levels of sugar, moderate acidity and high tannins.
Tasting Notes: It has an intense deep purple color. On the nose pronounced intensity, with elegant scents of black cherries, black plums, blueberries and a touch of spices, dark chocolate and coffee. It has a silky texture on the palate with an intense cherry flavor and a subtle hint of fresh pepper. The tannins are well integrated with a balanced acidity and a fresh acidity.
Wine Type: Red dry wine.

Region: Muntenia and Oltenia Hills.
Ageing: New French oak barrels for 18 months.
