Varietals: Furmint, Tramini, Italian Riesling and Juhfark (Sheep's Tail) a grape native to Somló, the smallest appellation in western Hungary. Somló is famous for its distinctively terroir driven mineral wines; the soil is clay, sand, loess and volcanic basalt rock; neutral grape but in the right hands can deliver astonishing mineral wines, crisp with tones of citrus, stone fruits, rhubarb and creamy palate.
Tasting Notes: Pronounced intensity with aroms of acacia flowers, ripe white peach and red apples compot. It is characterized by extreme concentration and minerality, thanks to the extremely stony soil. Very rare.

Vinification:The grapes come from a 30 years old, mixed plantation and were spontaneously fermented in tanks and matured for 8 months sur lie in used French Oak Barrels.
